Beth Hartley, 93 of Arkadelphia, formerly of Hampton died Monday March 11, 2024. She was born April 10, 1930 in Calhoun County to the late L.A. Talbot and Essie Watson Talbot. Beth was an English teacher and later became a high school counselor for 28 years.

Beth Hartley, 93 of Arkadelphia, formerly of Hampton died Monday March 11, 2024. She was born April 10, 1930 in Calhoun County to the late L.A. Talbot and Essie Watson Talbot. Beth was an English teacher and later became a high school counselor for 28 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. “Mutt” Hartley. She is survived by her four children; Vickie (Roger) Busse of Rogers, Susan (Mike) Desadier of Benton, Louisiana, Bill (Pat) Hartley of Royal, and Tom (Debra) Hartley of Arkadelphia; twelve grandchildren, Shane (Kristi) Sims of Benton, AR, Scarlett (Chris) Godwin of Cannon City, CO, Emily (Mark) Scholtes of Bella Vista, AR, Christopher Hartley of Royal, Richard Retford of Glenwood, Melissa Janett of Waco, TX, Anna (David) Fasolino of Ft. Worth, TX, Aaron (Lydia) Hartley of Arkadelphia, Josiah (Tori) Hartley of Arkadelphia, Daniel (Becca) Hartley of Kansas City, MO, Abby (Caleb) Lindsey of Kentucky, Micah Hartley of Arkadelphia; and 28 greatgrandchildren.

An open casket visitation will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 16, 2024 at New Hope Cemetery near Hampton. An 11:00 a.m. graveside service will follow with Tom Hartley officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www. bentonfuneralhome.net.
