Easter Sunday, Every Sunday

Like birthdays we celebrate Easter once a year. It’s a celebration of the Resurrection of our Savior and the Victory over death. It’s one of the biggest days of the year for most churches, next to Christmas. People dress in their best and go to church with family and friends to celebrate what Christ did to give us eternal life, a new life over sin.

That just seems like it should be something to celebrate every Sunday. The early Christians started gathering on Sunday to worship rather than Saturday because that was the day Jesus rose from the grave. Now we worship regularly each Sunday.

Everyday should be a celebration of our new life in Christ. Just think, we are no longer slaves to sin, we are new creatures with no need to fear death. We now have the freedom to live without the guilt and burden of our past. We are to live as God intended to love God and love others, We are Redeemed!
