Welcoming Ava Sweeney to the South Arkansas Sun Staff

Ava Sweeney is a 16 year old senior from Hampton High School. Ava is the 2nd eldest daughter of Bronson and Magan Sweeney. Coming from a big family, Ava knows how to communicate well and loves people.
Welcoming Ava Sweeney to the South Arkansas Sun Staff

Ava Sweeney is a 16 year old senior from Hampton High School. Ava is the 2nd eldest daughter of Bronson and Magan Sweeney. Coming from a big family, Ava knows how to communicate well and loves people.

Being a very skillful and determined worker Ava is involved in many clubs within her school, such as FFA, Yearbook, Beta, and Student Council. Ava takes all of these clubs into consideration and uses the best of her ability to complete the task or position she is given.

Ava is a member of First Assembly of God's youth group and loves her church family. Ava strives to shine the light God has given her and to learn the plan he has on her life! Ava is also apart of a teenage girls bible study. This bible study has taught her how to share the gospel and in the words of Tammy Miller, 'How to be of the world not in the world.' She is one of the biggest role models and inspiration in Ava's life.

Ava plans on attending college at UCA. Speech Pathology is the career that has sparked her interest at the moment. She was inspired to follow this career from shadowing her grandmother, Laquetta Daniell. Seeing the way she was able to be a light and put a smile on her patients faces really revealed to Ava what she wanted to do with her life. Ava does all she can to help others and be the reason someone has a good day.

Through this position on the South Arkansas Sun Staff, Ava hopes to learn more about the putting together of the newspaper and better her writing skills.
