On Friday and Saturday December 13 & 14, Elizabeth Escobar, an 8th grade student from Hampton, participated in the Region 3 All- region Honor band. The previous week she auditioned against students from all across South Arkansas and was placed 4th on her instrument out of all those who participated from across all classifications from 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. At the clinic she had the opportunity to rehearse with approximately 100 other students and with just 8 hours of rehearsal perform a concert of music none of the students had seen before that day. Congratulations Elizabeth, for your outstanding achievement and hard work! You are a fine example of the exceptional students at Hampton High School.
