Emma Jean Thomason Reddin

age 92 of Hampton died Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Timberlane Nursing Home in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born July 18, 1930 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. She was the retired recorder and treasurer for the City of Hampton and she was a member of Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hampton.

Emma Jean Thomason Reddin, age 92 of Hampton died Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Timberlane Nursing Home in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born July 18, 1930 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. She was the retired recorder and treasurer for the City of Hampton and she was a member of Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hampton.

Emma Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Floyd Ritchie and Lillie Mae Strickland Ritchie; husbands, Virgil L. Thomason and James H. Reddin; one daughter, Diana Furlow; two brothers, Johnny “Wallace” Ritchie, Charles Burton Ritchie and one grandson, Thomas McKinnon. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Thomason of El Dorado, Billie (Jack) Launius of Hampton; one step son, Bill (Saira) Reddin of Cypress, TX; one step daughter, Renee Cosper of Dallas, TX; one sister, Margaret Fielding of Calico Rock; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Garland Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow at Means Cemetery.
