Wanda Loretta Wisinger Henderson, age 87 of Hampton died Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. John’s Place in Fordyce, Arkansas. She was born May 17, 1936 in Hampton, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Dickenson Baptist Church in Harrell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Wisinger and Dorothy Ethridge Wisinger; husband, Basil Henderson; daughter, Judy Henderson; sister, Rose Groce. She is survived by two sons, David (Elaine) Henderson of Combine, TX, Robert Henderson of Combine, TX; one daughter, Jennifer (Peter) Elsner of Caldwell, TX; one sister, Doris Henderson of Hampton; eight grandchildren, Kristy Wright, Katie (Ronnie) Ingram, Brad (Mallorie) Henderson, James Henderson, Michael Henderson, Victoria Dart, Daniel Elsner, Amanda (Grant) Dusek; twelve great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank St. John’s Place for the care that was given to Wanda during her time with them. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Dickenson Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Dickenson Cemetery.
