Faye Ethel Thornton Rodermund,

90, of Dumas, AR passed away December 22, 2023, in Dumas with her family by her side. Faye was born April 30, 1933, in Marion County, to the late Joe and Nancy Still Thornton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Rodermund, one daughter Gail McCuan, twin grandbabies Roy and Oscar Peppers and one great grandson Will Bradley.

Faye attended the First Assembly of God Church and she worked at the Sunbeam Corp for 8 years.

She is survived by one son Mike Rodermund, Salem, AR, four daughters, Jean Nickolson, Dumas, AR Diane (Jerry) Ivey, Oxford, AR, Gerry Hornaday, Hampton, AR, Valerie (Dwight) Armstrong, Dumas, AR, one son-in-law Jim McCuan, Dumas, AR, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 greatgreat grandchildren.

Visitation was Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services were Thursday, December 28, 2 p.m. both at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Dumas with Rev. Scott Gilbreth officiating with burial following in Walnut Lake Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital,1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, Little Rock, AR 72202.
