Things I’ve thought of and thankful for after yesterday’s storm damage: —Mrs. Janette’s bedroom wasn’t where the carport is.

—It was Bill Blann’s barn and not his house.

—No one was dining or working at BnG’s pizza.

—No one was dining or working at La Caretta.

—Zach didn’t have his new stuff new moved in yet or present at the time.

—There weren’t tires being changed by workers at Ricks.

—Cars weren’t filling the streets when the huge trees fell.

—My guys weren’t standing on the back porch at the shop.

—Kids weren't in school and no buses in route through town.

—Mrs. Melba, Beth, Larry nor anyone else was sitting next to the window that busted.

—Taylor wasn’t at work when her glass door busted.

I could go on, but you get my drift. God is good and I’m so thankful there weren’t any injuries! If it had been during the work hours, so many us would have been in town through that storm.

It could have been so much worse.
