Marjorie Ann Mulligan Parker,

Marjorie Ann Mulligan Parker,

Marjorie Ann Mulligan Parker,

85 of Hampton, went to be with her Lord on August 4th, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of fiftynine years, Leo Parker; her parents, Howard and Nellie Mulligan; and two brothers, Wilmer Mulligan and Troy Mulligan.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Parker and Carol Thomas (Corey); two grandsons, Brandon Hannegan (Kodie) and Brad Hannegan (Tabatha); two granddaughters, Kelsey Jeffrey and Kendal Duff; three great grandsons, Jacob Hannegan, Jax Hannegan, and Emmett Hawkins; one great granddaughter, Blaikley Dees; brother and sister-in-law, Brady and Betty Parker; sisters-in-law, Beulah Helmick and Donna Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

Mammy, as she was known at home, was a homemaker her entire life and she loved her family. When asked about her favorite memory, she said it was watching her two daughters playing together as little girls. She was a fantastic cook. In fact, no one can ever touch her chicken and dressing. The holidays will not be the same without her. She also had a very quick wit and used it often.

Declining health over the last few years had caused her many times to say she was ready to go Home. We are very grateful that now she can see what macular degeneration had stolen. There is no more constant back pain and no more cancer. She is healed, and although we grieve for her, we also rejoice for her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 2PM at Union Grove Assembly of God near Hampton with Rev. Rickey Smith and Rev. Beauford Rash officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce/Hampton. To sign the online register visit www. bentonfuneralhome.net .
