Ricky Lee Wages,
Ricky Lee Wages,
passed away unexpectedly at Cox Medical Center, in Branson on February 15, 2024 at the age of 65.
Ricky was born on September 7, 1958, one of three sons, to Elliott T. & Reta J. Wages. He grew up in Covina, CA and graduated from Gladstone High School. Always loving the outdoors, he enjoyed mountain biking and cycling, sometimes over 100 miles, in the beautiful California landscape. In 1997, he followed his family, relocating to Arkansas. His outdoor hobbies transitioned to hunting and fishing in the Arkansas woods and rivers. He shared many memories with his family at their hunting camp in Arkansas. Ricky had a great interest in cars and had many good times on adventures with his brothers racing cars. In 2006, he followed his family again, moving to Reeds Spring. Before diabetes gave him a debilitating foot injury, Ricky worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Branson West. His larger-than-life stature and outgoing spirit made him perfect for his job welcoming customers. In his leisurely pursuits, Ricky had always been a movie buff and delighted in watching movies, television or using a screen to play a good video game. He will be most remembered
for the love he had for his family. To Ricky, family was everything and he was a great brother and amazing uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He is gone before we were ready to let him go and he will be deeply missed.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
He leaves behind his brothers, Eddie Wages & wife Sandy of Hampton, AR and Randy Wages and wife Helen of Reeds Spring, along with six nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ricky’s life will be held in Arkansas and he will be laid to rest with his parents and family in Camden, AR.
Cremation arrangements were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
