passed away October 20, 204. She was born in Calhoun County, the eldest child of Jethro T. McRae and Estella Berry on Mark, 26 1934. She is preceded in death by her parents Jethro T. McRae and Estella Berry McRae, One sister, Ernestine McRae Hansborough (Judson), and one son, Lue-Estelle T. Walker McRae (Marilyn) She leaves to cherish her memory: Two daughters-Helene D. Lambert (Vester), Yvonne K. Disbute, four sons-Billy Joe Disnute (Caryl), Eddie L. Disnute, Jethro (Kenny) Disnute, and Christopher H. Disnute (Vilma), and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Who is she? She graduated from Berkley Junior College in Berkley California. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, formerly known as AM&M. She went on to receive her masters degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was your mentor to higher education, and your disciplinarian to good behavior. She retired in 1986 after teaching a total of 34 years. She is the daughter of the late Estella Berry and J.T. MaRae. She is the wife of Eddie Disnute, and the mother of 7 children and many grand and great grandchildren. She is the woman who helped raise foster children from our community. She is the steadfast example of a lady. Whether she taught you or not, sh is your Ms. Christine... And to us....She is our mother.
